To promote and
conduct cooperative clinical and basic scientific
research on hearing aids,
communication disorders in all ages and paediatric
speech perception;
To organize educational
activities for clinicians and the public in
the treatment and
rehabilitation of hearing and communicative
disorders;
To provide training for
health professionals and educators in the
field of
communicative sciences in Hong Kong and abroad;
To serve the population
of Hong Kong in respect of hearing and
communicative disorders;
To facilitate exchange with
China and other countries in the region through
collaborative activities.
